This is a bloody tedious book, it seems to ramble on until the unimpressive ending. It is composed mostly of unengaging dialogue between dull artistes, who are petty and idiosyncratic. There's hardly any exploration of the cabaret milieu of the time, just dull banter. Some may like it, I did not see it as anything grand.
Still, I love Dada and the Cabaret Voltaire. Hugo Ball was also very poor, so I side with him.
